Getting the App
Your Colorbook is distributed through the Apple App Store. Search for Your Colorbook by Lutarea on your iPhone or iPad, or open the store link from TestFlight if you are in a beta program.
The App requires iOS 17.0 or later and runs on iPhone and iPad. Bundle identifier: com.lutarea.yourcolors.
Common topics
- Offline-first library — colors and folders are stored on your device with SwiftData. There is no Lutarea account and no CloudKit sync of the live database. To move data to another device, export a JSON backup from Settings and import it on the other device (Merge or Replace).
- Organizing — create folders, mark favorites, and tag colors as brand / UI / print / client. Filter by All, Favorites, Unfiled, folder, or tag; search by name, description, HEX, folder, or tags.
- Color editor — pick with Spectrum, Wheel, Classic, Grid, RGB, HSL, or HEX. Switch display formats (HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, CMYK), adjust opacity, and copy the current value.
- Recently copied — the library can show colors you copied recently (kept on-device).
- iCloud backup (optional) — Settings → Data: export to Files → Lutarea BACKUPS → Your Colorbook Backups (container
iCloud.com.lutarea.backups). Import supports Merge (newer edits win byupdatedAt) or Replace. Requires iCloud; Lutarea does not receive the backup contents. - Free limits — Free plan can create up to 50 colors and 5 folders. Existing items above a limit remain editable; creating new ones is blocked until you free space. No in-app purchases in the current Free-only release.
- Themes and language — system / light / dark / Pacific Cyan themes; nine interface languages or follow the system language.
- Source links — optional URL on a color (for example Figma or a brand book); opens in the system browser.
- Reset — delete colors and folders in the App, or uninstall to remove local storage. Exported JSON files remain files you manage yourself.
Reporting a problem
When you email support, please include your iOS version, App version (from the App Store or TestFlight), and steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots help. For backup import issues, note whether you used Merge or Replace.
We do not provide professional design, branding, or print-color matching advice. Conversions between formats are approximate for convenience.
