These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Your Manga (the "App"), developed and operated by Lutarea ("we", "us", or "our"). The App is distributed for Apple platforms (iPhone and iPad) and is listed on the Apple App Store under the name Your Manga.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App and eligibility
Your Manga is a personal library and reader for comics and manga files you import yourself. Features include importing CBZ, CBR, ZIP, RAR, PDF, EPUB, and image folders; organizing series, chapters, and volumes; reading with image, PDF, and EPUB readers; optional iCloud Drive sync for your library; optional JSON catalog backup to Lutarea BACKUPS; adding your own OPDS catalog URLs; downloading from direct HTTP(S) file links you provide; Share Extension and batch import; home screen widgets; optional passcode and biometric lock; and local reading statistics. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by Apple and applicable law.
2. Apple App Store
If you obtain the App through the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and rules, including the Apple Media Services Terms and the App Store Guidelines. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance, or support, except as required by Apple's policies.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the usage rules of the store from which you obtained the App.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer the App except where mandatory law allows.
- You may not use the App in any way that violates applicable law or infringes third-party rights.
4. Your content and conduct
You are responsible for the manga, comics, and other files you import or download through URLs and OPDS feeds you choose. You represent that you have the rights necessary to store and read that content on your devices. The App does not host a built-in catalog, search third-party sites, or parse HTML reader pages. Direct URL import accepts raw archive files only, with validation to reject non-file responses.
Only import content you have the right to read. Optional features may use Apple frameworks you approve (for example biometric authentication for app lock, or photo library access for custom covers). Widgets may show limited library summaries on your home screen as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Import, OPDS, export, and sharing
The App may let you import files, add OPDS catalogs, export or import JSON backups, export CBZ, and share original files through the system share sheet. You are responsible for what you import, download, export, and share. OPDS servers and file hosts you use have their own terms and policies; we are not responsible for third-party services or for the legality of content on external sites you choose to access.
6. Changes to the App and Terms
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Archive extraction and reader rendering depend on the source file; you are responsible for maintaining your own backups using export features where available.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lutarea and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero if the App is free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may cease providing the App where required by law or if you materially breach these Terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
